Episode 9: Synchronised Fight

One of the most iconic anime of the 1990s and a landmark mecha series, Neon Genesis Evangelion is set in the future after a global catastrophe decimated much of the world population. A military organization called NERV is dedicated to fighting monstrous creatures known as 'Angels' who seem to be connected to the event that devastated the world fifteen years prior. The story follows Shinji Ikari, a quiet and timid boy, and several other teenagers as they pilot mysterious giant robots called Evangelion (or Eva) to combat the Angel threat.
