Konobu II Hasegawa

Konobu II was an Osaka based artist, and third of the six generations of Hasegawa lineage. He was the only artist in the lineage to never take the Sadanobu name, instead only using the artist name Konobu. The younger brother of Sadanobu II, he was a successful artist whos work was largely commercial such as frontis pieces for books or newspaper illustrations, as was common for woodblock print artists of the era.
